Lisinopril is a member of the class of medications known as ACE inhibitors. It is also used to treat heart failure and to increase survival after a heart attack. Blood vessels are relaxed as a result, allowing for easier blood flow. High blood pressure is managed with lisinopril. Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems.

Missed dose

Inform your doctor or pharmacist about your medical history before taking this medication, especially of: blood filtering procedures (such as LDL apheresis, dialysis), high blood potassium levels, and history of allergic reactions characterized by swelling of the face, lips, tongue, throat, and face (angioedema). Before breastfeeding, speak with your doctor. For more information, speak with your doctor. Till you can do it safely, avoid operating machinery, driving, or doing anything else that requires alertness. It is unknown if this medication passes into breast milk. It might be harmful to a developing child. Limit your alcohol consumption. The adverse effects of this medication, particularly dizziness and increases in potassium levels, may be more noticeable in older adults. Inform your doctor if you experience persistent diarrhea or vomiting. If you use marijuana (cannabis), speak with your doctor. Talk to your pharmacist for more details. You may experience lightheadedness after taking this medication. Pregnancy is not advised when taking this medication. Inactive ingredients in this product have the potential to cause allergic reactions or other issues. Your potassium levels could rise as a result of this product. Too much sweating, diarrhea, or vomiting may cause dehydration and increase your risk of lightheadedness.
