Brexpiprazole is broken down in the liver by two important enzymes, known as CYP3A4 and CYP2A6. Examples of SSRIs include fluoxetine (Prozac), sertraline (Zoloft), and escitalopram (Lexapro). When brexpiprazole is advertised on television or other media, a lot of adverse effects are listed. A selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) is usually the first drug prescribed.

Table of Contents Common Mirtazapine Withdrawal Symptoms There’s a Small Chance of Mirtazapine Withdrawal Causing Mania How Is Mirtazapine Withdrawal Typically Minimized? Mirtazapine (aka Remeron) is less likely to cause side effects than many other antidepressants. It’s not much of a jump to think that most of those other symptoms can lead to sleep issues: Anxiety - One of the most common causes of insomnia in general Nausea, Vomiting, and Restlessness - Can make someone uncomfortable enough to hinder sleep Irritability - Makes relaxing and clearing one’s mind for sleep more difficult. How Mirtazapine Withdrawal Might Cause Insomnia Indirectly Most reports of mirtazapine withdrawal don’t include insomnia as a direct side effect, but a small portion of patients still experience it. Unfortunately, it can lead to insomnia, both by making it harder to get to sleep, and also by making someone feel like they need less sleep (because they feel so full of energy).
