Interactions
For more information, speak with your doctor or pharmacist. Contraindications
If you are unable to produce urine or are allergic to Lozol or any other ingredient in Lozol, do not take Lozol. Due to elevated blood glucose levels and electrolyte imbalance, medications like Lozol have made SLE worse. There may be severe side effects, such as a worsening of kidney disease, gout, or systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). This medication may affect electrolytes including sodium and potassium. Patients with liver disease should use this medication with caution. Dry mouth, thirst, lack of energy, weakness, drowsiness, restlessness, cramps in the muscles, decreased urination, a fast heartbeat, nausea, and liver dysfunction are all warning signs of electrolyte imbalance. Your doctor will check these levels using a blood test.
