Dosage

Adults and adolescents over the age of 12: The starting dosage is 0.63 mg, given by nebulization three to four times daily, every six to eight hours. Children aged six months to eleven years should nebulize 0.31 mg three times a day as per the recommended dosage. Levosalbutamol inhaler: You should use your inhaler as needed to treat an asthma attack at any time of the day, with or without food, by inhaling 1-2 times up to 4 times daily, but no more than 8 times in a 24-hour period. Nebulizer Solution: This nebulizer solution comes in unit-dose ampoules and doesn't need to be diluted before being inhaled. Patients over the age of 12 who have more severe asthma or who do not respond well to 0.63 mg of levosalbutamol nebulizer solution may benefit from a dosage of 1.25 mg three times per day. Daily dosage shouldn't be more than 0.63 mg administered three times. By inhaling two doses of levosalbutamol into your lungs 15 minutes prior to exercise or exposure to a known allergen, you can prevent asthma brought on by allergies or exercise.

Side effects

In a few instances, reports of anxiety, headaches, vertigo, exhaustion, and insomnia have also been made. Contraindications

Levosalbutamol Hydrochloride, like all sympathomimetic amines, should be used cautiously in patients with cardiovascular diseases, particularly coronary insufficiency, hypertension, and cardiac arrhythmias, in patients with convulsive disorders, hyperthyroidism, or diabetes mellitus, and in patients who have an unusual response to sympathomimetic amines. Injecting levosalbutamol is not permitted when using an inhaler or nebulizer.
