Description
Don't chew it, break it, or crush it. Ketasma may be taken with or without food, but it is preferable to take it at a set time. Completely inhale it. As directed by your doctor, take this medication for the prescribed amount of time. By preventing the release of specific chemical messengers that may cause inflammation, airway muscle spasms, and other asthma and allergy symptoms, ketasma works to treat asthma and allergies.
Dosage
Ketasma should not be administered to infants or toddlers under the age of three. The doctor may decide to start with a lower dose. 1 or 2 mg (1 or 2 tablets) twice daily is the typical adult dose. For kids older than 3 years old, the typical dosage is 1 mg (1 tablet) twice per day.
Missed dose
Ketasma should not be taken twice to make up for missed doses. If it is the time for the next dose you should continue your regular dosing schedule. If you forget to take a dose, you should do so as soon as you realize.
Overdose
If you experience an overdose and feel unwell, stop taking the medication right away. You should call your healthcare provider right away or seek emergency medical attention.
Storage
Keep children's reach at a distance. Store away from excessive moisture and heat at a temperature below 25 degrees Celsius. After the expiration date, dispose of any unused medication.
