It operates by battling bacteria in your body. Keflex is a cephalosporin (SEF a low spor in) antibiotic. Keflex is used to treat bacterial infections like ear infections, skin infections, upper respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, and bone infections. Infections can be treated with Keflex in both adults and children who are at least one year old.


Continue to take this medication until the full prescribed amount is finished, even if symptoms disappear after a few days. Do not use a household spoon because you may not get the correct dose. Missed dose

So keep that in mind, cephalexin is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to cephalosporins and also patients who have serious penicillin allergies.
