The use of Ecosprin 75 Tablet lowers the risk of future heart attacks and strokes by preventing the development of blood clots in blood vessels. The treatment of a heart attack or stroke brought on by a blood clot may involve using Ecosprin 75 Tablet in higher dosages. It prevents the blood clot from enlarging and obstructing the heart's blood flow.
For at least 30 minutes after taking Ecosprin, avoid lying down. Take Ecosprin with a meal. The typical Ecosprin dosage is 75-325 mg per day for heart attack prevention (as an antiplatelet agent). Adults are typically prescribed 4 to 6 g, or 75 to 100 mg/kg, of Ecosprin daily in divided doses for the treatment of acute rheumatic fever. The typical Ecosprin dosage for treating all types of pain (analgesic), lowering fever (anti-pyretic), and treating migraine pain in adults and adolescents is 300 to 900 mg 3–4 times per day (maximum 4g per day), and 10 to 15 mg/kg orally every 4–6 hours (maximum 4 mg per day) in children. With a full glass of water, swallow tablet orally.
Avoid taking two doses at once. If it is the time for the next dose you should continue your regular dosing schedule. When you realize you've missed a dose, you should immediately take it.
You should seek emergency medical attention or get in touch with your healthcare provider right away if you experience an overdose and feel unwell. Severe headache, nausea, vomiting, tinnitus, blurred vision, dizziness, malaise, and fever are signs of an overdose on Ecosprin (salicylism syndrome).
Keep out of children's reach. Store away from excessive heat and moisture at room temperature between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius (59 and 86 degrees Fahrenheit). After the expiration date, dispose of any unused medication.
