Tell your doctor or pharmacist right away if any of these effects last longer than expected or get worse. Contact your doctor or pharmacist if you experience any other effects that aren't covered above. In Canada - Call your doctor for medical advice about side effects. People with an overactive bladder typically have premature or faulty signaling, where the brain tells the bladder that it’s full and must be emptied even if it is not nearly full. The only stipulations to this medication are if you have a history of liver or kidney problems as well as any associated medications being taken to deal with those issues. If you start to experience serious side effects such as difficulty breathing, swelling or a severe rash, notify your doctor immediately. Ordinarily, the bladder becomes full or near full with urine, and then the brain signals out that it needs to be emptied and you receive the urge to do so. The most commonly observed symptom is a sudden need to urinate that comes on extremely quickly and with strong urgency.
