Interactions

Contraindications
If you have a systemic fungal infection or are allergic to dexamethasone or any of its ingredients, you should not take dexamethasone. Convulsions, vertigo, headache, psychiatric disturbances, endocrine abnormalities, or any combination of these symptoms should be reported to your healthcare provider right away. Menstrual irregularities Growth suppression in children Onset or worsening of diabetes mellitus Increased hair growth Ophthalmic complications are all signs of endocrine abnormalities. If you experience any, or all, of these symptoms, contact your healthcare provider right away. If you experience any of the following signs or symptoms of gastrointestinal distress, contact your doctor right away: peptic ulcer, pancreatic inflammation, abdominal bloating, or distention, dermatological issues. Increased intraocular pressure, glaucoma, exophthalmus, or myocardial rupture following a recent heart attack are all signs of ophthalmic complications.
