Side effects
Don't stop taking it if you experience these, but do speak with your doctor. Generally speaking, you should try to stay away from situations that aggravate your asthma (your triggers) and quit smoking. If you are concerned about them, talk to your doctor. Thrush irritation, swallowing issues, and oral or throat fungus infections are the most typical side effects. There are additional, uncommon side effects that may be dangerous. After using your inhaler, you can lessen the likelihood of these symptoms by gargling with water and brushing your teeth.
Contraindications
If you're pregnant or nursing, find out from your doctor if it's safe for you to take this medication. If you have liver disease, an infection in your mouth or lungs, or tuberculosis, you should let your doctor know before taking Budecort. Long-term use of Budecort raises the risk of osteoporosis, glaucoma, and cataracts in the eyes, as well as weak bones (osteoporosis). Avoid contact with those who are sick because you may be more susceptible to infections while taking it. Tests for bone density and eye pressure may be necessary.
It should not be used in the primary treatment of status asthmaticus or other acute asthma episodes where intensive measures are needed. Then, gently breathe out and seal your lips around the mouthpiece. Budecort Rotacaps are contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to Budesonide or excipients.
