Storage

However, you should not flush this medication down the toilet. Instead, utilizing a medicine take-back program is the best way to get rid of your medication. All medications should be kept out of the sight and reach of children, as many of the containers (such as weekly pill containers and those for eye drops, creams, patches, and inhalers) are not child-resistant and are simple for small children to open. Keep this medication tightly closed in its original container away from the reach of children. If you do not have access to a take-back program, visit the FDA's Safe Disposal of Medicines website at http://goo.gl/c4Rm4p for more details. Store it at room temperature, away from sources of extreme heat, and dry (not in the bathroom). Talk to your pharmacist or contact your local garbage/recycling department to learn about take-back programs in your community. Always lock safety caps and immediately store medications up and away and out of young children's sight and reach. http://www.upandaway.org Unused medications should be disposed of in special ways to ensure that pets, children, and other people cannot ingest them.
