Missed dose

This medication should not, however, be flushed down the toilet. Instead, the best way to dispose of your medication is through a medicine take-back program. As many containers (such as weekly pill minders and those for eye drops, creams, patches, and inhalers) are not child-resistant and are simple for young children to open, it is crucial to keep all medications out of sight and out of reach of children. Keep this medication in the container it came in, tightly closed, and out of reach of children. If you do not have access to a take-back program, visit the FDA's Safe Disposal of Medicines website at for more details. Store it at room temperature and away from light and excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom). To find out about take-back programs in your neighborhood, speak with your pharmacist or get in touch with your city's waste/recycling department. To protect young children from poisoning, always lock safety caps and immediately place the medication in a safe location – one that is up and away and out of their sight and reach. In order to prevent pets, kids, and other people from ingesting leftover medications, they should be disposed of in a specific manner.
