Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes) bacteria, which thrive in blocked pores, are the primary cause of acne. A chronically inflammatory skin condition called acne vulgaris. Adaferin Gel is manufactured by Galderma. For inflammatory and comedonal acne, adapalene is recommended as a first-line treatment. As it penetrates deeply into the clogged pores, it modifies cell differentiation and keratinization, reducing the amount of leftover dead skin cells and preventing the development of pore-clogging content. It functions as a keratolytic, comedolytic, and exfoliating agent. It functions as an anti-inflammatory and comedolytic. Whiteheads, comedones that are not inflamed, pimples, and possibly scarring are some of its symptoms. As acne develops, our immune system reacts to the excessive P. acnes population. When pores contain too much skin sebum and too many extra dead epithelial cells, they become clogged. Adapalene, a third-generation retinoid and vitamin A derivative, is the main component of Adaferin Gel. This is a topical medication for mild to moderate acne vulgaris on the face, chest, and back. P. acnes no longer has a favorable environment to grow in because pores are devoid of comedogenic material.

Adaferin Gel is for external use only. Usually for three months, one dose of Adaferin Gel is applied each night before bed. Applying to your mouth, nose, private parts, or any other mucosal surface is not recommended. In case your acne has not improved after 2-3 weeks of treatment, discontinue the Adaferin Gel use and seek medical advice.
